Once authorized, we will send express mail (IBC) charging the shipping costs to your credit card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard), or via Federal Express charging to your Federal Express account number. You may also authorize another individual to pick up your found items.
What is the Check-in time?
Check-in is 4:00pm, however you can register anytime prior to that.
What is the Check-out time?
Check-out time is 12:00noon. Late Check-outs are subject to a penalty fee.
Can I smoke in the unit?
No, all units are Non-Smoking. Smoking is allowed only on the patio or
balcony. Please comply with the Non-Smoking Policy to avoid being charged a penalty.
Can I use a laptop computer onsite?
Yes you can. WIFI cards are sold at the Front Desk @ $10.00 for 24
hours continuous access and $35.00 for one week continuous access. WIFI cards are non-refundable.
"Hot Spot" locations are the main lobby 1st and 2nd floor surroundings,
guest building, pool and beach area surroundings.
Is there an Internet Café on premises?
Yes. The Internet Café is located on the upper Lobby Level. Non- refundable
Access Codes are sold at the Front Desk @ $10.00 for an hour and $20.00 for 2 1/4 hours.
How do I retrieve and delete messages from the inroom voice mail?
To retrieve voice mail enter: * 6 # 7 (Star 6, Pound 7)
To delete messages enter: * 3 (Star 3)
Is there a Lost and Found at La Cabana?
Yes, the Housekeeping department keeps items left behind for three months. After 3 months items are disposed of.
How do I contact Lost and Found?
To confirm your item has been found, contact Lost & Found, Monday to Sunday from 8:30am to 11:00pm. Telephone: (297) 520-1100 ext. 129, Fax: (297) 587-1473 or email patricia.b@lacabanabrc.com. To complete the process, you need to fill the Lost & Found Authorization for Express Mail, and fax it to us.
Is there an ATM machine at La Cabana?
Yes, in the main lobby, right next to the Front Desk. Visa, Master, Amex and Discover are accepted.
What is the cost of cab fare from the Airport to La Cabana?
The cab fare from the airport to La Cabana is $17.00 for two persons with 2 pieces of luggage. $1.00 extra for each additional piece of luggage. On Sundays, holidays and after 12 midnight $3.00 extra.
When is the weekly Owners Meeting?
Every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Conference Room.
Where can I find a La Cabana Timeshare Calender?
Should we bring our own beach towels to La Cabana?
No need, La Cabana has towels available by the pool.
Are there hair dryers, irons & ironing boards in the rooms?
There certainly are.
What type of bbq grills are at the resort, and where are they generally located?
They are gas grills and they are located on both sides of the side wings.
Our flight departs long after your 12 noon check-out time. Is there a place to store luggage and shower before leaving for our late flight?
Our health club facilities makes it easier for late check-outs.
There are showers available, towels, hairdryers, soap, shampoo etc. etc. The Bell Staff have a bell closet to keep your luggage secure.
Can we purchase a meal plan after we arrive at La Cabana or must we do it beforehand?
You may purchase mealplans once you are here. They are sold at the La Cabana Guest Services Desk.
If someone needed to phone me while at La Cabana, what number would they use?
Phone (297) 520-1100 and ask for you by (registered) name. If the person calling knows your room number, they can also by-pass the operator by calling a direct
number and after the tone punch in your room number. If no one picks up the
phone in your room, the person needs to hang up because the call will not bounce to the operator. Direct Party dialing instructions are found in our online Phone & Email Directory.
Does La Cabana have wheelchairs available?
You can request a wheelchair either from the bell staff upon your arrival, or in advance by emailing guestservices@lacabanabrc.com. Include your name and arrival time and date.**
** Wheelchairs are available for a limited one-time use. For extended use of wheelchairs you can contact a local provider named LABCO, to arrange rental possibilities. Their website is www.labcomed.com. For a wheelchair at the airport you will need to arrange this with your flight attendant.
Does La Cabana have cribs, high chairs or strollers available?
La Cabana does have cribs and high chairs. You can request them when you arrive. There is a $5 per night charge for the crib. No charge for the high chair. Strollers are not available, we suggest you bring your own.
What kind of accomodations can be made for additional nights stay?
La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club is a sold out Resort and
inventory is limited. Prior booking other Resorts, check with Owners Reservation department at owners@lacabanabrc.com for any availability that might match your owned week(s).

Yes; for assistance please stop by in the Members Relations
Department Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Other times can be arranged by appointment.
I've just gotten married. What is the fee to make a name change?
When adding or deleting names to or from the ownership due to marriage (or divorce, death etc.) there is a US$150 charge to issue a new share certificate.
We own two weeks but this year we would like to bank one of them. How do we go about this?
For banking weeks you need to contact Interval International. When you bank your week, you have 2 years time in which to use it. When ready to reserve your week, phone Interval and they will check availability for you. If you do not have a membership with II, you can enroll by phoning (305) 666-1884.
Can we let a guest use our suite this year?
Yes, but an authorization letter must first be received by La Cabana, find this online at www.lacabanabrc.com/membersforms/. Your maintenance fee account must be up to date for us to process this request.

Is my timeshare deeded?
Each owner of one or multiple weeks in the La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club is a shareholder in the Capital of the Coop Association; as such you can consider the shares as a deed. Your shares can be sold, inherited or transferred, as per the rules and regulations stipulated in the ABC's of vacation ownership.
Who owns La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club?
The Coop Association is the registered owner of all the buildings and facilities known as the La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club, plus the long lease right on the land up to January 2050, as per the transfer deed passed by the Notary Public on June 26, 2001.
For how long is the lease on the land?
The buildings and facilities are constructed on long lease land, owned by the Government, but leased to the Coop Association. The duration of the land lease is for an initial period of 60 years. Upon expiration it will be renewed for another period of 60 years. In case the Government decides not to renew the long lease, it has to compensate the economic value of the construction on the land. The lease will expire in January 2050.
What is the lifetime of the Association?
The initial duration of the Cooperative Association, in accordance with the National Ordinance on Cooperative Associations, lasts for a period of thirty years. Before these period lapses, the General Meeting of Shareholders if so desired can decide to further extend the duration of the Association for another thirty years. Such extensions can be renewed each time anew. This is stipulated in the Articles of Incorporation of the Association.
I need to sell, but I have lost my original share certificate. What do I need to do?
Make use of an affidavit form and sent this to the Membership Department together with the other required documents. Go to "forms online".
