how do I let you guys know that my friend will be using my unit this year?

You have to arrange for a guest to use your room. It is simply a matter of filling out the guest form (available on this site)- and fax it down to La Cabana. You have to be up to date with your annual fees, I believe, to do this by the way. PS: Double check that you unit will NOT be UN-available due to the renovations. If so, La Cabana will put your guests in a similar room. Better to be sure.
